• LIMITED EDITION 500 COPIES

• 12 BONUS TRACKS

This essential collector’s edition includes one of King’s lesser-known gems from his most inspired years, the splendid The Soul of B.B. King. It was issued by Modern Records’ subsidiary label, Custom (the same LP had been Npreviously released by Crown Records, simply titled B.B. King). The ten songs Ninclude urban blues as well as straight R&B shuffles and some swinging Nnumbers with organ and horns, such as “Please Remember Me,” “Come Back Baby,” and the romping “You Never Know,” Maxwell Davis production Nfrom the 1960s with a powerful brass section and lively organ playing.

This blues masterpiece has been remastered on this very special edition, which also includes 12 bonus tracks from the same period; featuring the great “I Got to Find My Baby,” the infectious R&B “Come By Here,” the groovy Ninstrumental “Mashing the Popeye,” and the blues ballad “The Fool.” The set Nalso includes two great numbers where King shows his love for soul music and his stylistic flexibility: " My Baby's Comin' Home" and "Bad Luck Soul"
