This release presents a complete live quintet performance of the great Ben Webster taped at the Renaissance, in Hollywood on October 14, 1960. Webster is the only horn here, backed by Jimmy Rowles on piano, Jim Hall on guitar, Red Mitchell on bass, and Frank Butler on drums. As a bonus, a poignant blues recorded by Webster the previous year at the same venue, backing singer Jimmy Witherspoon.
