Count Basieâs first LP of Beatles songs was titled Basieâs Beatle Bag. It was recorded on May 3-5, 1966 and arranged by Chico OâFarril. While this earlier LP was produced by a major company, the second was made by a small label which disappeared soon after, making the album very hard to find. This edition presents the complete album Basie on the Beatles, plus the also complete One More Time LP, featuring splendid arrangements and compositions by Quincy Jones.
