This release presents the complete original LP "Oleo" (Blue Note GXF 3065). As a bonus, four tracks from an early Green session that was also recorded in a quartet format (including another Sonny Rollins composition, âSonnymoon for Twoâ). It pairs the guitarist with the classic Miles Davis rhythm section of Wynton Kelly, Paul Chambers, and Philly Joe Jones.
