    This edition presents organist Jack McDuff´s two initial albums as a leader in their entirety. Brother Jack (Prestige PRLP7174)  and Tough ´Duff (Prestige PRLP7185). The first LP showcases McDuff as the main soloist in a quartet with guitarist Bill Jennings, plus bass and drums, while the second album features him sharing the frontline with tenor saxophonist Jimmy Forrest and vibraphonist Lem Winchester.
