    This special collector’s edition on 180 gram vinyl includes James Brown & The Famous Flames’ third LP for the King label, Think! (1960). This seminal album helped define the primal nature of soul. It also offers a solid introduction into this man’s special brand of musical feeling – his passionate style, intense delivery and innovative R&B sound. The foot-tapping rhythms, spine-tingling stylings and sentimental mood renderings so typical of his early performances can all be heard here. This is one of the essential albums in music history, and a good starting place to explore Brown’s constellation, as well.
