McCann and drummer Ron Jefferson play on all of the tracks, while Leroy Vinnegar and Herbie Lewis alternate on bass. The three albums were recorded live at celebrated American jazz clubs: The Bit in Hollywood, New York’s Village Vanguard, and San Francisco’s Jazz Workshop.
