An exclusive licensing and distribution deal negotiated by Chicago’s Chess label and the UK’s Pye Records in the early ‘60s finally gave UK record-buyers access to the impressive recorded legacy of numerous US musical legends. Since then, Let Me Pass has become one of the most sought after records among Diddley collectors.
