This release contains the complete classic album "Something Else" (Blue Note BLP 1595) in which Cannonball âby then a member of the Miles Davis Sextetâ was joined by his boss, Hank Jones, Sam Jones and the great Art Blakey. All five musicians shine on this album, which is one of the most celebrated in the history of jazz. As a bonus, a complete 1958 session by the Miles Davis Sextet with Cannonball Adderley, John Coltrane and Bill Evans, which was recorded at the Newport Jazz Festival shortly after making ou our main LP.
