This
release presents the original album "Dave Digs Disney" (Columbia CL
1059), featuring the classic Dave Brubeck Quartet with Paul Desmond,
Norman Bates, and Joe Morello performing a set of songs from Walt Disney
movies.
As a bonus, two songs from the sessions that were not
included on the original LP, as well as five alternate takes. This would
be Norman Batesâ last album as the bassist of the quartet, as he would
soon be replaced by Eugene Wright.
