Description
Originally released in 2017, 11 Short Stories of Pain & Glory pairs Dropkick Murphys’ Celtic punk sound with songs about recovery, community and perseverance. Driving guitars, traditional folk instrumentation and shared vocals support a record rooted in the Boston band’s connection to the people around them.

“Blood” and “Paying My Way” sit alongside the band’s rendition of “You’ll Never Walk Alone,” while “4-15-13” pays tribute to those affected by the Boston Marathon bombing. The album closes with the communal singalong “Until the Next Time.”
