Here is one of the true masters of jazz guitar as he appeared live in Tokyo, in April of 1976. This recording, which finds Raney in the company of bassist Sam Jones and drummer Leroy Williams, documents performances that took place at Yubin Chokin Hall on April 12, and at Nakano Sun Plaza Hall on April 14. Raney himself considered them among his very best.
