    "Little Girl Blue" (aka My Baby Just Cares for Me, Bethlehem SBCP6028) was Nina Simone’s debut album and first studio recording ever. Recorded when she was 25 years old, it was a tremendous success and led to a fabulous career that would produce more than 80 studio sessions. It contains such perennial classics as “I Loves You Porgy” and “My Baby Just Cares for Me”. Five tracks taped live by Simone between 1959 and 1961, four of which feature the exact same personnel as the studio album, have been added here as a bonus.
