Crest opened its doors in 1954, and then closed less than a decade later, but while it was around its output was very entertaining. Unlike other independent record companies of the time, Crest was wide ranging in its musical scope. It not only had two real giants on its books in Eddie Cochran and Glen Campbell, but also showcased the likes of Frank & Ernie, The Gee Cees, Bob Denton and The Ebb Tones
